A tattoo is a medical procedure. This is why we set the highest standards to safe work processes at PARDON PARIS. You only want the best for your skin, and it is our pleasure to guarantee this. No effort is too big to ensure that our clients´ tattoos are created with the highest quality materials. A satisfactory result of a tattoo cover up is only achievable if the already existing tattoo meets the basic requirements to realize the new motif request. In this case we need a regular request via our request button on the website just like we would need it for a new tattoo. Based on the photos of the tattoo, which is to be covered, our booking team will consult one of our tattoo cover up experts. If we can accept your request in good conscience, our booking team will reach out to you to set up an appointment.
A free touch up for your tattoo done at PARDON PARIS is possible within 5 months after your first appointment. If you think your tattoo needs a touch up after the healing phase (6-8 weeks), feel free to contact us by sending a photo of your tattoo to info@pardonparis.com. We are happy to assist you in setting up an appointment for your touch up.
Getting the tattoo is only half the battle. The way you care for your tattoo determines how it will look like later. Therefore, you will receive a hand out with instructions on the after care after your tattoo appointment.
Unfortunately, we have to inform you that our experience has shown that often you will not get the desired result. That is why we decided to not do finger tattoos. Firstly, you won’t be able to provide the necessary care for the tattoo (due to everyday activities such as washing your hands etc.). Furthermore, fingers have insufficient skin texture, which means that a satisfying result cannot be guaranteed.
We prefer to welcome our clients without company. There are several reasons to this. Most important are the hygienic and space related aspects. But do not worry, we will take good care of you, and also hold your hand if it comes down to it.
Previous to your appointment, you will receive an email from us with all important information. We kindly ask you to carefully read through it. In case you should not be able to follow the instructions, we reserve the right to not tattoo you. Please make sure to take our suggestions into account. Should there be anything else to clarify, feel free to contact your booking agent.
There is no cause for concern should you get sick before your appointment. Most important is that you inform us in due time, so we can cancel your appointment and reschedule. Please do not visit our studio if you are sick. This can have long-ranging effects on the entire PARDON PARIS team. If you have questions regarding taking medication, please contact us in advance.
Unfortunately, we do not do white tattoos. Similar to finger tattoos, your white tattoo will not look like what you imagine it. A white tattoo will hardly be visible since the human skin is not transparent, but rather has a certain color to it. This is the reason the tattoo will not look sufficiently good once it is healed. We aim to satisfy every customer with our art and service. Since we cannot guarantee this with white tattoos, we cannot implement them either.
This placement very much depends on the design. We generally advise against a tattoo on the ribs if it is a motif with many lines. Since especially women have poor connective tissue on the ribs, and on the inner upper arm, you could risk blowouts, particularly in fine line style. This means the lines can burst a little and thus the fine, delicate effect of the tattoo can be lost. The tattoo could also look a bit fuzzy or unclean. We would therefore recommend that you trust the advice of our booking team in planning the appointment, as well as the design and placement in consultation with you.
Generally speaking tattoos on scars are possible, but similar to cover-ups they require an extra consultation, and an experienced artist. It should be noted that scars must have healed completely without any reddening visible. Either way, we have to see pictures of the scar first in order to be able to tell you more about your options.
Unfortunately, we only tattoo persons of legal age, which is 18 years old as defined by German law. Therefore, you will also find a checkbox in our contact form to confirm that you are not underage.
We recommend a break from any types of sports for 14 days. You should also avoid the beach and the sea for around two weeks. If you want to bathe in chlorinated water, you have to be patient for another week. Always remember: Those who are particularly careful in the initial phase will benefit from their tattoo for a lifetime.
Calling us is in order to set up an appointment is not recommended. We need some important information from you that cannot be provided by phone. Therefore, using our contact form is the ideal option. We'll get back to you via email asap.
The deposit guarantees us that you really want to keep your appointment at the agreed time. It is not only a security for us, but also offers you a security that the booked slot belongs only to you and your artist. Since the artist deals with your motif in advance and designs your individual sketch for the appointment, we want to ensure that your motif ends up on your skin eventually.
There is no overall answer. In general, waiting time is around 4 to 6 weeks. Occasionally it is possible for us to offer you a sooner appointment.
We usually plan our appointments on a quarterly basis. This means that if you plan your appointment in autumn, we will start planning and assigning appointments around August. Having to wait half a year for a tattoo appointment is really no fun, so we try to keep the waiting time as short as possible and the organized planning as high as possible.
This is no offered service of ours. The individually designed and unique motifs of our artists are only available on site, along with the unique experience and atmosphere of our studio.
